Most IT professionals are familiar with Microsoft’s CSP (Cloud Service Provider) licensing used to buy cloud services such as Office 365 and Azure. What is lesser known is the upcoming change to purchasing known as “New Commerce Experience” or NCE. Learn the details from Mark Benton, Director of Product Management at Systems Engineering, about how this change introduces new rules and opportunities over the next year to how commercial customers buy Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365. In addition, Sherman Crancer, formally of Microsoft and now a consultant to Microsoft partners, will demonstrate a platform that provides deep insights into your Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. The analytics in this platform can show opportunities for improvement in productivity and security while optimizing spend. While this may not impact other non-commercial organizations, changes to purchasing server and perpetual licensing available through CSP will be made.
