SD-WAN, Software Defined Networking (SDN), and the Microsoft Cloud: It’s Definitely a New Frontier in IT

March 16, 2017 @ 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm

“The disruptions caused by the transformation to digital business models are driving adoption of SD-WAN at a pace that is unheard of in wide-area networking.” —Gartner

SD-WAN, Software Defined Networking (SDN), and the Microsoft Cloud: it’s definitely a new frontier in IT. And with the pending release of Azure Stack from Cisco (as well as from other vendors) it quickly becomes a confusing landscape. The ability to combine your on-premise environment and public or private cloud environments without complex VPN mesh infrastructures is the ultimate goal.

While SDN is not magic (ok well maybe it’s a little magical), it can be complex to implement. Join as we explore the emerging world of Software Defined Networking and hear from experts about how you can bridge the gap between your network and the Microsoft Cloud. We’ll also cover the latest advancements in SD-WAN technologies, as well as frameworks for building more scalable, reliable, and cloud-ready environments.
